Two people were injured in a Wittmann shooting during an alleged drug deal on Sunday afternoon, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say Peoria police officers arrived at an urgent care clinic at 10230 W. Happy Valley Pkwy. around 4:20 p.m. after receiving reports that two people had been shot.

Investigators later determined that the shooting occurred in the jurisdiction of Maricopa County Sherriff’s Office near 203rd Avenue and Bradley Road.

Deputies also learned that the two victims weren’t shot, but suffered minor injuries from the windshield’s broken glass after it was struck by gunfire, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies didn’t identify the two victims or any possible suspects as of Monday morning.
