Tempe police looking for suspect who robbed Chase Bank with a note

Police were called around 3:15 p.m. Monday to a Chase Bank located near Kyrene and Elliot roads in reference to a bank robbery.

Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Chase Bank location in Tempe with just a note on Monday, police said. 

Tempe Police Department officers were called around 3:15 p.m. Monday to a Chase Bank located near Kyrene and Elliot roads in reference to a bank robbery, according to Detective Greg Bacon, a spokesman for the department. 

“No weapon was used and the suspect provided the teller with a note, at which time, an unknown amount of money was provided to the suspect,” Bacon said. 

The investigation is ongoing and no further details were immediately available.
